South African born, Standard Bank Young Artist 2022 award receipient, independent multidisciplinary performance artist, whose interest is in the LGBTQIA+ related issues, the space between Digital Art and Spiritual Art.

"I am interested in interrogating and making commentary on socio-political issues which tend to shape my (our) culture in the contemporary space."
Majela, works and collaborated closely with other internationally artists. He is a Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher and a Creative Director/Producer. He is involved in the contribution, developing and reshaping of the arts sector, especially in Africa
He serves as one of the Exco-committee members for the South African Dance Alliance: a non-profit organization which aims to connect and develop the dance sector in South Africa.

Majela has worked and/or collaborated as a company member at the Dance Factory: Dada Masilo's Company and The Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative (FATC) in South Africa.

Majela has been involved in numerous international and local residencies such as Pro-Helvetia (Switzerland) which resulted in a work touring Madagascar, Maputo, South Africa and Switzerland. Bhodi Khaya (RSA), FATC (RSA), Reunion Island to mention a few.

He collaborated with other independent artists based in Vienna to create a dance film titled A Last One in Color which Premiered at the 2017 Japanische Filmtage (Vienna):
The film received Special Mention 2019 RollOUT Dance Film Award, Best Story Nomination 2017 Sarajevo Fashion Film Festival, Official Selection 2017 Mosaic Film Festival.
He started creating independent short dance films:
- Layered Waves which is featured at Mobile Dance Film Festival New York City, Lift-Off First Time Film Makers United Kingdom.
- Each Passing Minute which is featured at the Think Short
- iNxeba and Lilith, Lucifer and Eve
He co-choreographed a dance film titled Sub Zero, a film funded by the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (South Africa).
- Sub Zero was selefted for the Lift-Off Global Network in United Kingdom
- It featured at the Woman Scream Film Festival in Dominican Republic.
- Nominated to participate in the Black Cat Film Festival

He has been an invited artist for the Season 7 at William Kentridge Studios, the Centre for the Less Good Idea. During this period, he created a dance work using the Pepper's Ghost Device, Spactral.
- Spactral was presented at the Virtual-National Arts Festival in South Africa.
- Screened as part of the Performance Kokkenet Film Festival in Denmark.

He has been involved in numerous workshops at the Centre for the Less Good Idea,

He has been invited by the Kampnagel Sommer Festival 2022; Artist Laboratory facilitated by Olympia Bukakkis which included 10 Independent Queer Artists. An opportunity for the international artists to be able to discuss issues around creating work and surviving challenges as a queer artist.
Majela is a teacher, Movement Studies which is a dance workshop that uses Release Technique, Floor Work and Breath Work.
- He has taught at the Dance Factory Kids program, Vuyani Dance Company, Moving into Dance Mophatong, Joburg Ballet Theatre, Hilbrow Outreach Foundation, Orlovska Dance Academy, South African Dance Alliance Day of Dance and Profi-Training-Tanz Buero (Basel, Switzerland).
- He has toured his classes/workshops in various regions in South Africa; Kwa-Zulu Natal, Gauteng, Northern Cape, Free State, Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) to make dance training accessible.
